Two men, who according to information from people who work close to the scene of the incident, were homeless people, got involved in a fight, and one of them, the 28-year-old, whose name has not been revealed, used a pointed piece of pottery, and at the time of the fight, he struck several blows to his opponent's neck, causing him to not resist and after staggering out, he fell on the sidewalk where he died in moments after suffering the blows. The other man who committed the murder, on the other hand, was arrested and arrested by (Present Security) police who were passing near the site of the confrontation between the two. A fire department car was triggered and attended the scene, but the individual was already lifeless. The motives for the crime are yet to be revealed by investigations.

Over a trivial issue, a man attacked his wife and daughter with a knife, leading to the death of his 19-year-old daughter in Gujarat's Surat district Friday night. The wife and daughter wanted to sleep on the terrace of the house while the man insisted they sleep in the room, which led to an altercation.

Kadodara police inspector R S Patel said the accused, Ramanuj Sahoo (45), a resident of Satyanarayan Nagar society in Kadodara village in Palsana taluka of Surat district, works at a dyeing and printing mill in GIDC at Kadodara with his wife Rekhadevi. The couple hails from the Siwan district of Bihar and has three children, including the deceased Chandakumari (19), and two minor sons.

The police said, on Friday night, the couple returned home from the job and after having dinner, Rekhadevi along with her children took the bedsheet to the terrace of the building. Ramanuj objected and asked them to sleep inside the house but she denied.

A heated exchange of words ensued and Sahoo took a knife from the kitchen and attacked Rekhadevi, who received injuries on her right hand, while Chandakumari tried to stop her father. The father and daughter reportedly engaged in fisticuffs which further enraged Sahoo and he stabbed his daughter several times with the knife resulting in her death on the spot. Sahoo fled the home after the incident.

Rekhadevi called the neighbours and later intimated the Kadodara police.

The police took charge of the body and sent it to a government hospital for postmortem. Rekhadevi lodged a complaint against Sahoo and an offence under IPC Sections 302 (murder), 326 (Voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons), 324 (Voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons), 506 (2) (IF threat be to cause death or grievous hurt) and 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) was lodged.

A 13-year-old student in Brazil's biggest city fatally stabbed a 71-year-old teacher and wounded three teachers and two fellow students on a Monday in a knife attack at a public school, state officials said.

The five wounded victims from the Thomazia Montoro school in São Paulo were in hospital in stable condition. The suspected attacker was detained and the state's military police are investigating.

“Our efforts are concentrated on helping the wounded and comforting the family members,” Gov. Tarcísio de Freitas wrote on social media.

A student who spoke to reporters alongside his mother outside the school said the attacker had insulted another student last week, and that the female teacher he fatally stabbed had tried to settle the conflict.

The attacker had called the other student a “rat,” and “the other one did not like it, and they began fighting,” said Gabriel Livramento, 13, who is in the same class as the suspect. He added that the attacker did not like the way the teacher had intervened and had said he would do something about it.

The attacker entered class Monday wearing a skull mask and stabbed the teacher from behind, hitting her head and back, Livramento said. The entire class then started running, he said.
