Update: The alleged shooter is a 33 year old, Hispanic man from Dallas named Mauricio Garcia. He worked as a security guard in the past. He had neo-nazi/racist sympathies. He was wearing a chest rig as well as a security jacket. He was armed with an AR-15 syle rifle and a handgun.

Surveillance video released by the Shelby County Sheriff's Office in Sidney, Ohio, shows 22-year-old James Rayl walk up to a home on July 31 and repeatedly bang on the front door, WDTN reports. Voices can be heard in the background telling Rayl that his ex-girlfriend, also 22, did not want to see him and instructing Rayl to go away.
A man's voice can also be heard warning that he had a gun as Rayl pushes through the front door with his shoulder and shots ring out. Rayl was shot three times and stumbled into the driveway before collapsing on the ground.
A neighbor appears in the video shortly after and says "he's dead" and "he's shot" before law enforcement arrives. Authorities said Rayl died at the scene.
According to FOX News, the man's daughter had ended her relationship with Rayl more than 18 months ago. Rayl reportedly left a voice mail on her phone the night before and then showed up at her house around 11 a.m.
Shelby County Prosecutor Tim Sell told local media that a grand jury declined to charge the father in Rayl's death, citing the state's "Stand Your Ground" and "Castle Doctrine" that allows homeowners to use lethal force when threatened.

June 27, 2023, Nanterre, Paris- A French police officer is being investigated for homicide over the fatal shooting a 17-year-old boy, "Nahel Merzouk" who have Algerian roots, in the Paris suburb of Nanterre after he failed to comply with an order to stop his car, the local prosecutor's office said.
The officer fired at the boy, who subsequently died from his wounds, the Nanterre prosecutor's office said. A video shared on social media shows two police officers beside the car, a Mercedes AMG, one of whom shoots as the driver pulls away.
Sporadic clashes broke out between youths and police on Tuesday evening as anger over the death of the teenager grew in the local community. Some groups set alight barricades and garbage bins, smashed up a bus stop and threw firecrackers toward police, who responded with tear gas and dispersion grenades. Nine people were arrested.
After a record 13 deaths from police shootings in France during traffic stops last year, this was the second fatal incident in such circumstances in 2023.
One passenger was taken into police custody but later released. Police were unable to contact another passenger, the prospector's office said. The driver was “known to the judicial services for having refused to comply with a traffic stop” on a previous occasion, it said.

Police say the woman was shot multiple times at the ReNew Apartment Complex in the 8500 block of Walther Boulevard.

PHILADELPHIA - Gunfire broke out at a Fairmount gas station, killing one person and injuring a private security guard.The shootout took place at a Sunoco gas station on the 900 block of College Avenue, about 7 p.m. Tuesday evening, according to officials.
The armed guard, a 30-year-old man, was on duty inside the store when an armed man, 39, walked into the location with a gun.
Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore says the suspect confronted the guard after an altercation about the location of a parked barbecue truck.
Surveillance video provided to FOX 29's Steve Keeley shows the moment the armed suspect walked into the gas station, confronting the security guard before gunfire erupted.
Police say gunfire was exchanged between both men, according to video from inside the store.
The security guard, licensed to carry and employed by Pennsylvania State Agency, a security company working with the gas station, was shot in the leg. He was taken to Temple University Hospital and listed as stable.
The 39-year-old man was shot multiple times in the face and in the legs. He died at the hospital.
In the gunfire exchange, one bullet made its way across the street, hitting a second-floor bedroom window. Officials said no one was injured in the home.
Police are actively investigating the scene, including the inside and the outside of the gas station. They did find multiple weapons at the scene, but haven't made any arrests.
No charges have been filed in connection to this incident.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was shot by a nine-month pregnant woman and her husband after surveillance video shows him attacking the couple in front of a north Houston gas station Tuesday evening.
"No, they were not taking out my baby daddy before July 11," the woman said, referring to her due date.
The shooting happened at about 5:25 p.m. Tuesday at 8605 Fulton Street.
The couple asked ABC13 to conceal their identities, fearing retaliation. The woman said she parked in front of the All Season Food Store on Fulton Road, near Berry, to deliver food for her husband, who works at the store. Two armed men were inside a silver SUV parked nearby.
"I got out of my car, and immediately, the guy in the passenger seat of the silver car got out with an AR and told me that I startled him. You know, he said it in a more vocal way," the woman said.
The woman called her husband, who came outside. The man with a rifle got into the driver's seat of a green Dodge Challenger, parked next to the SUV. There were multiple women inside the vehicle. However, the driver of the SUV started trying to pick a problem.
The husband said the man, who police have since identified as 39-year-old Mario Duque, repeatedly asked him, "Do you want to die tonight?" Surveillance video shows the couple ignoring Duque, who pointed a gun at them multiple times.
The video also shows Duque approaching the husband and pistol-whipping him. The wife pulled a gun out of her bag and shot Duque, who continued pointing his weapon at the couple. The husband also shot him.
"Thank God we had our guns. I've never been happier to be a gun carrier," the woman said.
