Around 3:30 a.m. on June 29, two officers with the Tulsa Police Department pulled over a vehicle in the 8900 block of East 21st Street. Investigators say the officers asked the driver, David Ware, to get out of his vehicle 12 times. When he refused, a taser was deployed. When that didn’t work, officials say the officers attempted to spray Ware with pepper spray. When Ware was out of the vehicle, authorities say Ware pulled out a gun and started firing at the officers. “The bullets found their mark, struck the officers, and the officers were critically injured. The officers went down and the driver slowly walked away from the vehicle and got into a waiting vehicle that had arrived to the scene and drove away,” said Chief Wendell Franklin, with the Tulsa Police Department. Sgt. Craig Johnson and Officer Aurash Zarkeshan were both shot multiple times and rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Sadly, officials with the Tulsa Police Department announced that Johnson passed away from his injuries the next day. “Yesterday, he sustained multiple gunshot wounds, one of which was critical. MANCHESTER, NH — John Delee, 22, of Salem, appeared in court Friday for the first time since he was charged with second-degree murder, accused of recklessly causing the death of Timothy Pouliot, 24, of Manchester.

The fatal shooting outside of the Goat Bar and Grill happened after a series of incidents inside the bar and the areas outside of the bar on Old Granite Street. A video widely distributed on social media showed Pouliot throwing a punch at Delee and Delee firing a gun nine times with eight of the shots striking Pouliot. The victim is seen falling to the ground where he was declared dead.

Kenosha, Wisconsin, United States

On August 23, Kenosha police shot an African American named Jacob Blake, paralyzing him permanently. Because of this, protests broke out in the city, which turned into riots. All charges against the police for this shooting were eventually dropped btw.

Kyle Rittenhouse is from Antioch, Illinois, but worked in Kenosha during the day as a lifeguard at Pleasant Prairie RecPlex. On August 24, he decided to stay overnight and meet up with his friend Dominic Black because of the riots. On August 25, they both arrived at the Car Source business to defend it from BLM rioters. At some point during the night, they split up.

Joseph Rosenbaum had interacted with Kyle (and another unknown man) before the shooting, saying "If I catch any of you guys alone tonight, I'm going to fucking kill you!" Rosenbaum had also displayed erratic and hyperaggressive behavior with others, asking people to shoot him, throwing rocks, and trying to start fights. Kyle went to the Car Source parking lot, as someone had set a vehicle on fire and he intended to put it out. However, he noticed someone holding a pistol in their hand and tried to run away. Rosenbaum ended up chasing him, shouting "Fuck you!" and grabbing the barrel of his gun, at which point he fatally shot Rosenbaum. The bullets hit his heart, aorta, pulmonary artery and right lung, fractured his pelvis, and caused minor wounds to his left thigh and forehead.

Then, other people started yelling that Rittenhouse shot someone, and the rioters chased after him. Anthony Huber hit him with a skateboard and struggled with him to grab the gun out of his hands, at which point he shot Huber, hitting him in the heart and right lung and causing him to die rapidly. After Huber was shot, Grosskreuz put his hands up, but then pointed his handgun at Kyle and advanced on him while he was still down. This caused Kyle to shoot Grosskreuz, hitting his right biceps.

After this, Kyle advanced towards the police for protection and gave himself in. He was charged with two counts of first-degree homicide, one count of first-degree attempted homicide, two counts of recklessly endangering safety, possession of a dangerous weapon under 18, and failure to comply with an emergency order from state or local government. The latter two charges were dismissed, and he was eventually acquitted of all remaining charges by the jury on November 19, 2021.

On February 11, 2024, a shooting occurred at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, perpetrated by 36-year-old Genesse Moreno.(pictured below)

“Witnesses at Lakewood Church stated that they heard multiple shots fired around 2:00 pm CST, the start time of the Spanish-language services. Reportedly, congregants "started praying and declaring Jesus' name" after hearing shots.”

The shooter, Genesse Moreno, claimed to have a bomb in her backpack, but no bomb was subsequently found. She also sprayed "some type of substance on the ground". She shot a 47-year-old man in the leg, wounding him.

Two off-duty officers, serving as security at the church, killed Moreno after she pointed an AR-15 at them. Moreno's seven-year-old son was shot in the exchange of gunfire. The child was taken to the Texas Children's Hospital in critical condition. Moreno was pronounced dead fourteen minutes after entering the church.

Reports of a second shooter caused some alarm among Houston residents, leading the police to evacuate businesses in the commercial district. Police confirmed that there was no second shooter.

The 47-year-old man was released from the hospital by February 12. The seven-year-old was still hospitalized as of February 25, 2024, and a portion of his frontal lobe had to be surgically removed.

The West Freeway Church of Christ shooting took place on December 29, 2019, in White Settlement, Texas, in the United States. Two people in the congregation were killed before the gunman was fatally shot by 71-year-old Jack Wilson, a volunteer security team member. The attack was live-streamed, as are all services at the church. Video of the shooting appeared online in real time, and was captured, leading to multiple Twitter posts and YouTube videos showing the actual crime in progress.

The perpetrator, wearing a fake beard and a hat, briefly spoke to Anton Wallace before drawing a shotgun and leveling it. Upon the perpetrator drawing his shotgun, churchgoer Richard White and Jack Wilson both drew their pistols. However, as they were drawing their pistols, the perpetrator opened fire, killing White with a single shot before immediately turning and firing his second shot at Wallace, killing him. The perpetrator then turned to his left, presumably to open fire on the crowd; however, he was shot and killed by Wilson.

The gunman was identified as 43-year old Keith Thomas Kinnunen, of River Oaks, Texas. He was wearing a fake beard and a wig and immediately raised the suspicions of the security deacons serving the church.

EAST FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police are investigating after a father and son were fatally shot in an apartment building in Brooklyn -- allegedly by their neighbor fed up with noise.

Authorities say they were found on the fourth floor of the East Flatbush apartment building just after 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Their downstairs neighbor was apparently fed up with the noise and went upstairs before pulling a gun and shooting them both, police said.

Family members identified the victims as 47-year-old Bladimy Mathurin and his 27-year-old son Chinwai Mode.

Marie Delilles said the downstairs resident was banging on his ceiling and angry about the noise coming from their apartment. She said an argument escalated before the suspect fired nine rounds at the victims, in front of her 10-year-old.

The family, originally from Haiti, downsized from a larger apartment which was an adjustment for Delilles' younger children.

There has been an ongoing dispute for years about noise.

"Kids make noise all the time, it doesn't dictate for someone to come up with a firearm and take someone's life," said family friend Mickael Louis.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Assemblywoman Monique Chandler-Waterman is helping the grieving family who is asking for security. The assemblywoman said she plans to work with police to ensure the family's safety while the search continues for the suspect.

Now the family is holding onto memories.

"My son is a good boy...he's not violent," Delillies said. "My husband has no gun, no weapon, why would you bring your gun to shoot my family? Why would you bring a gun to tear my family apart?"

Both John and Michael Miller were arrested in September 2018 and charged with murder. The case has caused an uproar after the murder was caught on cellphone video.

Their initial bonds were set at $25,000; after they bonded out, they were rearrested, and their bonds to raised 10 times that amount.

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – OCTOBER 23, 2023 A teenager armed with a pistol walked into Sapopemba State School in the eastern zone of São Paulo. In the corridor there, he killed 17-year-old student Giovanna Bezerra in cold blood.

He then entered a classroom full of students, where he shot 15-year-old Emily Silva and Fernando Rebeiro. Emily miraculously survived, as the bullet passed through her hair, as can be seen in the video footage. The others managed to escape the classroom. It is evident that the attacker directed his gunfire only towards the girls.

The school's assistant principal disarmed the shooter and detained him until the police arrived. The shooter was identified as a 16-year-old student of the same school. His motive for the shooting was bullying.
