Leaked footage of the Stresa-Mottarone cable car crash which killed 14 people in Italy, in May 2021.

The car had been experiencing malfunctions in the days before the crash, which led to a fail-safe emergency brake being illegally deactivated.

On 23rd May 2021, the car was ascending the mountain when a traction cable snapped 5 metres from the summit, sending the cable car hurtling back down the mountain. It reached the base, and crashed to ground 54 meters below, then continued to tumble down the mountain.

Thirteen people died at the scene of the accident, while two children were seriously injured and airlifted to a pediatric hospital in Turin. One of the children later died of cardiac arrest, bringing the death toll to fourteen.

Ximei was three-year-old girl from Kunming, southern China that died after falling to death on a escalator.

In this video, you can see Ximei being dragged up by the handrail of the escalator, where she proceeds to fall over the side to her death.

This happened on January 10th 2016 when she was left unattended in a shopping centre, which led to this tragedy.

On June 15, 2018, a 40 year-old man by the name of Samen Kondorura was killed at the funeral of his Mother, Berta, on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi.

Him and a few other pallbearers were trying to move the coffin to the top of a Lakkian, which is a specially carved tower for holding dead bodies before the funeral rites.

When they made it to the top, the ladder they were using, which was constructed out of bamboo, suddenly slid, causing almost all of the pallbearers, including Samen, to fall. The coffin followed, landing directly on him. He would later die of his injuries at a hospital.

According to Julianto Siriat, the Chief Police Commissioner of Toraja District where the incident took place, the ladder fell because it was not properly reinforced. Despite this, the family of Samen declined to press charges against anyone. His body was later laid to rest beside that of his Mother's.

Honestly, this has to be one of the most "Final Destination" style deaths out there. Getting killed by your Mother's coffin with her body inside of it.

A Turkish man was celebrating his birthday on January 1st, 2018, when a picture gone wrong resulted in him falling off a cliff to his death.

39 year-old father of eight Halil Dağ was visiting the historic Urfa Castle in southern Türkiye (yes, Turkey changed their name to Türkiye) with his friends, when it was decided that one of his friends should take a photo of him jumping off a ledge, which was approximately six feet/1.8m tall. Allegedly, he had to cross over a barbed wire fence in order to get to the location of the ledge.

When he landed, he fell sideways and rolled off the cliffside, to the obvious horror of his friends. He fell a total of 150 feet/50m before hitting the ground, landing near a Kurdish restaurant as shown in the CCTV footage. He was taken to the Balikligol State Hospital, where he died. His body was laid to rest at the Abdurrahman Dede Cemetery.
