Karl wallenda was part of the Flying Wallendas family who were a famous european family with the high wire act, the family lost a number of members when they fell performing the 7 man pyramid high wire act years ago.

Later, in 1978, karl wallenda died falling off a wire in brazil (i think it was?) seems the clips with original audio have been removed from youtube and this is the only one i can find for now.

apparently this video was shown on the news and received many complaints from users and after that news reporters had to warn viewers if any videos showing anything graphic would be shown next.

Despite being involved in several tragedies in his family's acts, Wallenda continued with his stunts. In 1978, at age 73, Wallenda attempted a walk between the two towers of the ten-story Condado Plaza Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on a wire stretched 37 metres (121 ft) above the pavement, but fell to his death when winds exceeded 48 kilometres per hour (30 miles per hour). The Wallenda family attributes the tragedy to "several misconnected guide ropes along the wire" and not the windy conditions. A film crew from WAPA-TV in San Juan taped the fall, and the video, featuring anchorman Guillermo Jose Torres' anguished narration of the fall, circled the world. Rick Wallenda went back the following year and completed the walk successfully.

May 5, 2023, NYC- A senior software engineer at Google jumped to his death from the search giant’s headquarters in Chelsea late Thursday, according to authorities and police sources.

The 31-year-old man — whose name is being withheld pending family notification — plunged from the 14th floor of 111 Eighth Ave. around 11:30 p.m., cops said.

Police responded to multiple 911 calls of an unconscious person lying on the ground near a building on West 15th Street, opposite the 2.9 million-square-foot, 15-story Art Deco building, authorities said.

Responding cops found the man unconscious and he was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Officers at the scene found handprints on the ledge of a 14th-floor open-air terrace, sources said. Investigators found no note, nor a video of the fatal plunge.

The employee’s death comes months after J.P., a 33-year-old Google employee who also worked at the Manhattan headquarters, was found dead of an apparent suicide.

J.P. appeared to have hanged himself in an apartment at the corner of West 26th Street and 6th Avenue in Chelsea just before 6 p.m. Feb. 16.

PARIS (AFP) - A young man died on Saturday after he fell off a statue at the centre of Paris's Place de la Republique during a music festival in the French capital.

The man, who has not been identified, had been climbing up the statue which represents liberty in the middle of the vast square in north-east Paris, but "slipped", a police source told AFP.

It marked the first serious accident during the Techno Parade music festival, now in its 17th year.

"The incident occurred after the conclusion of the Techno Parade," said a visibly shocked Mr Tommy Vaudecranne, president of Technopol, which organised the event.

"All of the floats had already left the Place de la Republique."

He continued: "Our hearts go out to the family and relatives of the deceased."

A video of the man falling off the statue was circulated on social media, sparking controversy among Twitter users.

Though dangerous, the sight of young people in Paris climbing up onto statues, roofs and the tops of bus shelters during music festivals and parades is not uncommon.

The Techno Parade music festival is an annual celebration of a form of music that is still frowned upon in French officialdom. This year's edition drew thousands of revellers and featured 60 DJs and more than a dozen floats.

Whether he survived or not is unknown.

The incident occurred on Thursday 27th September 2018, Rue de la Jonquière, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, France.

Their are various reports though it does appear that the man, aged just 26, his name not released, committed suicide by throwing himself out of a hotels sixth floor window rather than falling from a roof (as stated in some stories), and impaling himself on a pole (bollard) in front of passing vehicles and pedestrians around 8pm.

Emergency services were called, and promptly arrived at the scene, at this time the young man was still alive, but barely. the critically injured man was tended to by firefighters, medics and police who fought to save his life.

A cardiac massage machine on his chest to keep his heart beating and surrounded by three caregivers in green codes and a firefighter and a white vest as they carefully saw through the base of the pole, before racing him to hospital. All this occurred in front of shocked onlookers.

On arrival, the man was rushed into an operating theatre, where the rest of the pole was removed. One hour after the incident, the young man succumbed and died from massive, internal trauma.

*On a side note, Lawyer Tewfik Bouzenoune for the family of the man who died,, said it was a disgusting invasion of his privacy and demanded maximum punishments for the police officers and hospital officials responsible for releasing the two videos. French officials also ordered an enquiry to work out how images of the man ended up being shed by police and also how they were shot at the hospital.
