1 Lunatic 1 Ice Pick is the name of a video filmed by the suspect named Luka Rocco Magnotta murdering and dismembering a man. The crime video was released on the internet on May 25, 2012 on two websites, including bestgore.com.
The macabre video shows the murder with an ice pick of a naked man tied to a bed, and then the dismemberment of his body and the murderer performing various barbaric acts on the corpse. The scene is accompanied by the song "True Faith" by the group New Order, the same with which the movie "American Psycho", starring Christian Bale

"The assailant identified as “Jobinha” was murdered with three shots in the late afternoon of this Thursday, 14, at Rua 5 de Setembro, Zumbi dos Palmares, East Zone of Manaus.
Residents who were at the place where the bandit fell dead said that he was one of the most feared criminals in the neighborhood and, in addition to the robberies he practiced, he was also linked to drug trafficking.
“Jobinha” was doing a dragnet together with two companions, and the trio had just robbed a bakery when a chase was started by a group of approximately fifteen people.
Among the thieves' pursuers there was one who was wielding a firearm and fired several shots and three of them hit the assailant who died in agony for a few minutes.
According to the version heard by police officers from the Specialized Homicide and Kidnapping Police Station (DEHS), the other two robbers managed to flee the scene leaving “Jobinha” behind.

The man who fired the shots at the assailant and who was called a “justiceiro” was also not identified by the military police officers who acted in the event.
The body of the robber, who had several passages by the police, for crimes of robbery and drug trafficking, was examined and then removed by the Legal Medical Institute (IML) team."
