On November 21, 2017, a man in his 50s sets himself on fire at the GS25 UN Peace Store in Daeyeon-dong, Nam-gu, Busan at 13:16.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital with third-degree burns to his whole body, but was in critical condition and died around 2:20 a.m. the next day.

The cause is unknown.

They set fire to the alleged motorbike thief

A motorcycle thief was caught and tied by residents of Villa Comaltitlán and Acapetahua, who is linked to assaults and robberies committed in Acapetahua, Acacoyagua, Escuintla, Villa Comaltitlán and Huixtla.

Residents followed him from the community of Zacualpan in the municipality of Villa Comaltitlán, he was caught up and detained near the Matamoros ejido in Acapetahua.

The events occurred this Monday, more than 80 people with machetes and sticks arrested the presumed man who said his name was Antonio "N", 30 years old residing in the Morelos neighborhood of the municipality of Acacoyagua.

Tired of demanding justice and operations, the population decided to tie him to a tree when he was arrested and when the State Preventive Police arrived, they refused to hand him over. The people were furious, demanding that he name his accomplices and confess to the crimes he has committed.

He allegedly revealed that even the police and motorcycle mechanics are in collusion, who have robbed in Acapetahua, Escuintla, Acacoyagua, Villa Comaltitlán and Huixtla, in the latter municipality they robbed a cell phone store.

For several hours, the residents kept him tied up and beat him, finally they doused him with gasoline and set him on fire, family members put him out but he suffered burns on various parts of his body.

At 6:00 p.m., Commander Genaro of the PEP received him and took him to the public prosecutor's office in Villa Comaltitlán. The defendant has burns and blows to various parts of the body and now he is under investigation.

A 21-year-old cook died on the spot from his burns. A 30-year-old handyman with burns of varying severity was taken to the hospital, where he died 8 days later.

By a court verdict, the owner of a kiosk with shawarma was sentenced to a restriction of freedom for a period of 1 year."
