A local official from Brazil's leftist opposition Workers' Party (PT) was shot dead on Saturday (July 9 2022) by a federal prison guard shouting support for right-wing President Jair Bolsonaro, according to state law enforcement and a witness.
Marcelo Arruda, a municipal guard and PT official, was celebrating his birthday party in the southern Brazilian city of Foz de Iguacu, in the state of Parana, when Jorge Jose da Rocha Guaranho entered the event and shot him dead.

When he was at the entrance of the establishment, along with two other people, a hitman shot him in the back.
He was identified as Anthony Rivera Sandoval, 21, the other two people were injured.
It happened last Saturday night on the extension of Murillo Street, near the Los Rosales neighborhood.

context: in 1996, a man known as "Zé Ferreira"/Genildo made a killing in his city in Rio Grande do Norte in the northeast region of Brazil.
the reason would be because the man was going through enormous depression after the death of his 5-year-old son named Iure victim of being run over by a taxi driver.
After this tragedy in Genildo's life, Genildo completely changed his behavior, he no longer left the house, he was always drunk and constantly argued with his wife at the time.
After many disagreements with his wife at the time, Genildo decided he wanted to end the relationship as he was mourning his dead son.
His now ex-wife was irritated by the end of the relationship and then began to spread rumors that Genildo was homosexual, even saying that she had caught him having sex with a man. (which was a lie)
Genildo even tried to open a bar called "bar do Iure" in honor of his late son, but the place went bankrupt after becoming a meeting point for homosexuals.
Genildo also began to be humiliated in his neighborhood, where people generally talked about him being homosexual and spreading lies about him. Genildo once told his brother that he had lost his right to be a father and that he had now lost his right to be a man, and that now he had nothing left to lose.
Genildo was mourning the death of his son and was now humiliated by everyone who considered him homosexual, in addition to the fact that his bar, his only source of income, had gone bankrupt.
Genildo then went crazy, sold the bar and everything he had, bought 3 revolvers and 200 bullets, Genildo had planned everything, and now it was time to put his plan into practice,The moral of this tragic story is that you should never defame someone because you never know what is going on in their mind, especially if that person is known to be a former military sniper. sorry for the big text lol
