Context: On December 20, 2020, a shooting incident occurred in Paniqui, Tarlac, Philippines, when a police officer, Jonel Nuezca, fatally shot two of his neighbors, Sonia and Frank Gregorio, after a heated argument over an improvised noisemaker (boga). The victims' relatives and the perpetrator's underage daughter were present at the scene of the crime and witnessed the incident. The incident was caught on camera and went viral on social media

The incident occurred Monday 4th, in Bairro Pajuçara, in Maracanaú, in Greater Fortaleza, Ceará.

The victim, name not released, had been at a gym on Rua Maria Ferreira that evening. On leaving the premises and whilst getting into his vehicle, was executed and point blank range, with several gunshots to his head and also to his upper body. He died instantly. His executioner then fled the scene on a motorbike.

According to the military police who were called to the scene, the victim was surprised by a man who executed him coldly and without any chance of self defense. His body was examined before being removed for a necropsy.

Bullet casings were collected, along with CCTV footage. One of which had recorded the murder, and others within the area, that are being studied in the hope of identifying the perpetrator of the crime and the motivation.

The homicide and personal protection department (DHPP) will investigate the case. Thus far, the male they seek still has not been found.
