Near Laughlin, Nevada State Police have identified the driver who caused a deadly crash near Laughlin, Nevada that killed three motorcyclists from Utah over the weekend.
Claude Rafiki, 29, from Grand Rapids, Michigan, was identified as the driver of the 2020 Freightliner semi-tractor that collided with two motorcycles on Saturday, March 23.
A preliminary investigation found that the Freightliner semi was traveling westbound on SR163 when it crossed the unprotected center median and into the eastbound travel lane, which the motorcyclists were traveling in.
As a result, two riders and one passenger all from Saint George, Utah, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash and were pronounced deceased on-scene.
They have been identified as Jeremy George Gebo, a 44-year-old male, Owen Merrell Hart, a 22-year-old male, and Athena Faye Taylor, a 21-year-old female.
Rafiki was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on suspicion of impaired driving and other related charges.

Happened on September 25, 2015 in Saratov, Russia [51Β°32'09.4"N 45Β°58'26.0"E]
23 years old man from Slavgorodskoe village in Belgorod Oblast was driving MAZ truck (license plates from Voronezh Oblast) carrying starch through Saratov.
Likely due to not knowing the area he found himself in the area of Kumysnaya Polyana, even though it is prohibited for truck to drive there.
Kumysnaya Polyana is located on a hill. While driving downhill driver realised that the brakes didn't work. MAZ was quickly gaining speed.
The truck crashed into a nine stories high residential building located at Novouzenskaya Street 180B. The driver died on spot.

Security cameras captured the tragic incident that occurred on Thursday on Charles de Gaulle Avenue, near the "Come y Bebe" establishment, where a vehicle fell on top of a man from the second floor of an establishment. The video shows how a vehicle falls from a second floor and hits a pedestrian, causing his death instantly. According to preliminary reports, the accident was caused by a worker who accidentally stepped on the accelerator instead of the brakes. As a result, the van was ejected from the scene and plunged from the second story, tragically impacting the pedestrian. The shocking scene left all those present shocked by the magnitude of the tragedy witnessed. The authorities are investigating the event to determine the responsibilities and clarify the details of the accident

In the center of Belgorod, a car met with an ambulance.
The driver drove to the green light, but did not notice an ambulance approaching from the right. After the impact, the carriage fell onto another car. No info about victims :(
