A tragic scene of violence broke out in the Brisas del Río neighborhood of Malambo on a Wednesday at 8:58 pm, leaving a man dead from gunshots.

According to the information provided by the community, several heavily armed individuals on board a motorcycle attacked a man who was in an establishment on 21st Street No. 1C5-09 in the aforementioned neighborhood.

The victim was identified as Walter Díaz Gonzáles, known in the sector by the alias "Tarzán" . After the attack, he was rushed to the Campbell Clinic in Malambo , however, unfortunately, he arrived at the medical center without vital signs.

Walter Díaz Gonzáles had a criminal history, with 8 entries in his record, which included 2 for the crime of theft, 1 for carrying a firearm and 5 for the crime of drug trafficking.

PHILADELPHIA - Gunfire broke out at a Fairmount gas station, killing one person and injuring a private security guard.

The shootout took place at a Sunoco gas station on the 900 block of College Avenue, about 7 p.m. Tuesday evening, according to officials.

The armed guard, a 30-year-old man, was on duty inside the store when an armed man, 39, walked into the location with a gun.

Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore says the suspect confronted the guard after an altercation about the location of a parked barbecue truck.

Surveillance video provided to FOX 29's Steve Keeley shows the moment the armed suspect walked into the gas station, confronting the security guard before gunfire erupted.

Police say gunfire was exchanged between both men, according to video from inside the store.

The security guard, licensed to carry and employed by Pennsylvania State Agency, a security company working with the gas station, was shot in the leg. He was taken to Temple University Hospital and listed as stable.

The 39-year-old man was shot multiple times in the face and in the legs. He died at the hospital.

In the gunfire exchange, one bullet made its way across the street, hitting a second-floor bedroom window. Officials said no one was injured in the home.

Police are actively investigating the scene, including the inside and the outside of the gas station. They did find multiple weapons at the scene, but haven't made any arrests.

No charges have been filed in connection to this incident.

This afternoon, gunshots were reported inside the Plaza Sendero, in Villahermosa, Tabasco.

The events occurred after two subjects with motorcycle helmets arrived at the mall and allegedly shot at two people.

Preliminary accounts indicate that one of the victims died there. The death was confirmed by paramedics who went to the call for help.

It is also presumed that a pregnant woman was with nervous breakdown.

So far the authorities have not issued information about it, but Lorena Beaurregard, candidate for governor for the "Force and Heart for Tabasco" alliance, confirmed what happened.

A Multnomah County Circuit Court Judge has sentenced a private security guard who was convicted of murdering a man in a Lowe's parking lot in 2021.

Logan Conrad Gimbel was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 25 years, the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office announced on Tuesday.

Earlier this month, a jury found Gimbel guilty of second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Freddy Nelson while he was sitting in his truck at a Lowe's parking lot near Delta Park in North Portland in May 2021. Nelson was 49 years old at the time. Gimbel was also found guilty of unlawful use of a weapon and second-degree unlawful use of mace. The jury found Gimbel not guilty of recklessly endangering another person.

On May 29, 2021, officers found Nelson dead around 6:40 p.m. in the parking lot on North Hayden Meadows Drive, east of Interstate 5. A medical examiner determined Nelson died from gunshot wounds and ruled his death a homicide.

Nelson's wife filed a civil lawsuit against the owners of the property and the security company that hired Gimbel. Court documents indicate that there was a personal dispute between Nelson, the land owners and the Cornerstone Security Group.

The complaint alleges that security guards were told to look out for Nelson and to harass and intimidate him. After Nelson and his wife walked into the store, Gimbel blocked their car, then went inside the store and told Nelson that he was under arrest, according to the civil suit. The couple left the store, got into their car and tried to leave when allegedly Gimbel pepper-sprayed them through a window. Gimbel then stood in front of the vehicle and told them not to move. The civil suit claims that the Nelsons complied, but Gimbel fired shots into the windshield and hit Nelson.

Gimbel said he believed Nelson was going to run him over and that he acted in self-defense, OPB reported in an article. He did not have a license to carry a gun at the time of the shooting, according to OPB.

A gunman opened fire at a Safeway grocery store in Bend, Oregon, killing two men, one of whom was an employee, and wounding two other people before committing suicide.

After leaving the Fox Hollow apartment building at about 7:00 pm, the gunman, 20-year-old Ethan Blair Miller, fired into his own vehicle, a 1997 Ford F-250, in the parking lot of the apartment building. The gunman, armed with an AR-15 style rifle and a shotgun, then fired into the parking lot of a Costco as he walked to the Forum shopping center.

At about 7:04 pm, Miller reached the parking lot of the Forum shopping center, where he fired into a Big Lots store adjacent to Safeway. Upon reaching the west entrance of the Safeway, he shot Glenn Edward Bennett, an 84-year-old customer. Two other shoppers of the grocery store fled when the shooting started, but later returned to help Bennett, who had been lying on the ground. Bennett later died from his injuries in the hospital

The gunman then moved farther into the store, firing into aisles as he progressed. He eventually reached the store's produce section, where he was stabbed by Donald Ray Surrett Jr., a 66-year-old employee who had hidden behind a produce cart in the store after he heard gunshots. When the gunman looked in the opposite direction, Surrett stabbed him with a produce knife and attempted to disarm him. However, the shooter eventually overpowered Surrett and shot him to death. Two other people suffered non-life-threatening injuries from the shooting.

After receiving an emergency 911 call, officers entered the grocery store from the front and back. At 7:08 pm, Miller was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The two firearms he used were found near his body.

In total, the gunman fired more than 100 shots. While law enforcement has not completed its search of shell casings, they have recovered more than 100 shell casings from the gunman's apartment complex, The Forum shopping center, and the interior of the Safeway. Three molotov cocktails and a sawed-off shotgun were also found in the shooter's truck.
