That one guy who realized.. 
In the early hours of Sunday, May 7, an alleged group of antisocials launched an M-26 fragmentary grenade against a pool, located on 6th street in the 13 de Abril neighborhood in UreΓ±a.
The explosion left eight people injured, who were rushed to a nearby health center.
The injured were identified as Diego Carvajal, 33; Nelson Melo, 41; Jose Rincon, Jose Quintero, 32; Yilbert Maldonado, 31; Carlos Casique, Alexander Granados and Ederne MuΓ±oz.

The injured were taken by officials from the UreΓ±a Fire Department to the health center in the city of CΓΊcuta.

After the attack on the nightclub was announced, the governor of the state of TΓ‘chira reported: "Last night, in this intimidation plan, they threw a fragmentary grenade (...) at this place (...) with the unfortunate balance of eight wounded." , he said in a video posted on social networks, in which he calls on businessmen not to pay "a penny to criminal gangs."

A Brazilian mom died on New Yearβs Eve when a firework got lodged into her clothes and exploded, according to reports.
Video captured the tragic death of 38-year-old mother of two Elisangela Tinem, as the firework exploded on the beach in Sao Paulo, killing her in front of her two children, the Daily Mail reported.
In the clips, crowds of people are watching fireworks on the beach when the camera turns to show an explosion.

Ecuador: Extortion attempt goes fatally wrong as explosives detonate on suspect
In a shocking turn of events, an attempted extortion ended in a explosive death after an individual, suspected of trying to detonate an explosive device at a business in Guayaquil, Ecuador, found the device explode in his hands, resulting in his instant death. The entire incident was captured by a security camera.
The fatal event unfolded on Francisco de Orellana Avenue just before 11:00 p.m., where the accused culprit exited a red car and approached a commercial establishment, aiming to throw an explosive device.
The footage revealed the suspect handling what appeared to be dynamite, which unexpectedly detonated, causing his immediate demise. His companion in the red car hastily fled the scene.
The security camera footage vividly captured the outcome of the accused's actions. Reports from El Telegrafo suggested that the explosive used resembled mining dynamite, highlighting its significant power.
Earlier, the premises' owner had reportedly received extortion threats, leading to demands for payment to maintain peace. Although reports from El Universal indicated that the deceased suspect was a minor under 17 years old, identifying the body in its condition proved to be challenging
