An burglar was left worse for wear after a close encounter with a boerboel at a home in Middelburg, Mpumalanga, last week. Watch.

CCTV camera footage obtained by the Middelburg Observer shows the man jumping over a fence and making his way towards the house.

The dog confronts the man while he is under an awning where a trailer is parked. It snaps at him as it chases him around the garden, biting him several times.

The Middelburg Observer reported that when the owner returned home, she found the man standing on a table, screaming while the dog, Boela, tried to bite him. He had a metal rod with which he struck Boela several times.

He allegedly claimed he had not intended to break into the house, but wanted to see if there was something in the garden he could steal. She called police, who could not immediately come because they were busy with several accidents. An ambulance arrived and took the injured man away.

“Poor Boela was aching because of the blows [he got from the man], and everyone that was there promised him biltong and bones, but no one brought for him,” the owner said.

“So I bought mincemeat for R100 and cooked it for him to spoil him.”

The Mexican hunting director is rammed by a buffalo and died hours later. All this happened on a trip to Argentina.

I have no idea what he was trying to accomplish here but the animal sure didn't like it very much.

An elephant killed an American tourist.

This occurred in Zambia's Kafue National Park during a jeep safari when the vehicle carrying tourists encountered an aggressively inclined 5-ton bull. The aggression was likely triggered by musth (when testosterone levels spike). The jeep began to reverse but got stuck on the trail due to an obstruction and was attacked. Four individuals escaped with minor fright, one sustained serious injuries, and another was killed.

As per the police, the girl was returning home from her school with her mother and her five-year-old brother.

The girl was treated at a hospital. Her mother filed a complaint and the 26-year old cow owner was arrested.

The police have filed a case against him for not maintaining the cattle properly and for allowing it to roam around.

As reported by PTI, GCC Commissioner J Radhakrishnan visited the girl in the hospital. He said that the child has been discharged after treatment. He termed the incident 'very unfortunate'. Radhakrishnan told reporters that a fine of ₹25,000 has been levied on the cattle owner.
