Happened on September 25, 2015 in Saratov, Russia [51°32'09.4"N 45°58'26.0"E]

23 years old man from Slavgorodskoe village in Belgorod Oblast was driving MAZ truck (license plates from Voronezh Oblast) carrying starch through Saratov.

Likely due to not knowing the area he found himself in the area of Kumysnaya Polyana, even though it is prohibited for truck to drive there.

Kumysnaya Polyana is located on a hill. While driving downhill driver realised that the brakes didn't work. MAZ was quickly gaining speed.

The truck crashed into a nine stories high residential building located at Novouzenskaya Street 180B. The driver died on spot.

On May 10, 2024 a bus fell into a river in Peterburg, Russia. There were 9 people inside (not 20 as stated earlier).

Only the driver and one passenger survived. 7 people have died.

Car Accident on Route to Diu In Ahmedabad: Hit Biker, Shop Rammed, Elderly Man Crushed

In the vicinity of Khawgali near Una city, the driver lost control over the steering wheel early in the morning, leading to a crash into the pav bhaji shop. Outside the shop, an elderly person was hit by the car and tragically lost his life at the scene. The police have taken custody of the vehicle for further investigation into the incident.

Accident Due to Loss of Steering Control

A family residing in Ahmedabad had come out in their car with registration number GJ-06-PR-2526 and was heading towards the park. Near Khawgali, on the main road, the car's driver lost control over the steering wheel, causing the car to crash straight into the pav bhaji shop. The shop's exterior housed an elderly man named Dineshbhai Gandhi. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident. The incident caused significant damage to the shop's shutter, glass, tables, and even the pillars of the shop's exterior. Additionally, a bike with registration number GJ-32-AB-7276 was also damaged due to flying debris.

Fatality at the Scene Involving Elderly Pedestrian

The accident involved a car carrying a single family along with four individuals, including children. The car was speeding so much that upon impact, the airbags deployed. Among the occupants was a child named Mihir Kapilbhai Shah. Ahmedabad witnessed grave concerns. While others suffered minor to major injuries, all were promptly attended to by the Emergency 108 ambulance service and were taken to the nearest private hospital for treatment.

Police Take Action at the Scene

The accident caused a commotion on the road, with vehicles and bystanders crowding the area, leading to traffic congestion. Consequently, the police arrived at the scene to clear the traffic and ensure smooth flow. The front portion of the car's bonnet was severely damaged. Upon learning about the accident, the owner of the pav bhaji shop, Bipinbhai Chaganbhai Bambhaniya, rushed to the scene immediately.

Government of Gujarat's Board Mentioned on the Car

It's worth noting that the car, in which the Ahmedabad family was traveling, had the Government of Gujarat's board affixed to its front and a doctor's symbol on its rear window. In the aftermath of the accident, the elderly person's body, who lost his life, was taken to a government hospital for postmortem. The police took further steps for a thorough investigation into the matter.

Shocking footage of a bus losing control at Coimbatore's Gandhipuram city bus station and crashing into passengers at high speed has been revealed.

Coimbatore | From Coimbatore Gandhipuram City Bus Station to Kanuvai, there is a private bus called Saptagiri.

In this case, the Saptagiri bus has arrived to depart from Gandhipuram bus stand as usual yesterday morning.

On entering the Gandhipuram bus station, the driver saw the buses standing in a queue and tried to stop the bus by applying the brakes.

When the brakes failed, the shocked driver swerved the vehicle to the left to avoid hitting the buses.

The bus, which was going out of control, broke the central barriers placed inside the bus station and hit the passengers waiting for the bus at high speed.

At least nine people were killed and 13 injured in a hit-and-run accident on the ISKCON flyover in Ahmedabad. A speeding Jaguar, driven by 19-year-old Tathya Patel, crashed into a crowd that had gathered due to an earlier minor collision. The deceased included two police officers and a home guard. On May 13, Dak Doa district police (Gia Lai) are investigating and clarifying the cause of a traffic accident that killed a child on National Highway 19 (Nguyen Hue street, Dak Doa town)

According to initial information, around 3:40 p.m. on May 12, a road roller of Khang Nhat Co., Ltd. driven by driver Lo Quang Long (36 years old, residing in An Phu commune, Pleiku city, Gia Lai) rolled the road surface at the National Highway 19. The location of the road roller doing construction was on Nguyen Hue Street, Dak Doa Town.

At this time, Ms. Pham Thi Mai (66 years old, residing in village 3, Dak Doa town) was driving a motorbike with license plate number 81AA–041.06 carrying her grandson L.H.L (6 years old) across the road. Due to not paying attention, Ms. Mai's motorbike was hit by a construction roller. The roller could not stop in time and hit the child, causing the child to die on the spot.

Initially, the authorities determined that the cause of the above accident was because Ms. Mai entered the construction site area and drove a motorbike across the street without paying attention. Driver Long, driving the roller, did not pay attention.

The pilot flew too close to a crane and a main rotor clipped the cable hanging down with the hook. This shattered the rotor blade and the helicopter immediately went down since you need the main rotor to auto-rotate down which is the only safe way to make crash landing with a helicopter.

This crash happened on 2 October 1986 after the sarcophagus was well under way - it was finished in November 1986. The shattered core, thus, probably had already been substantially shielded by prior drops of lead, concrete and boron and radiation most likely was not a cause of the crash, just misjudging distance on the part of the pilot.

From July to November 1986, a concrete-made sarcophagus over 50 meters high and measuring 200 m by 200 m was built. During the sarcophagus construction, an accident occurred: on October 2 a Mi-8 helicopter got entangled with its blades in a crane cable and crashed onto the NPP's territory, killing four crew members.

The helicopter hit a construction crane cable at the nuclear plant, during a flight to pour a decontaminating acetate mixture onto the accident reactor, and crashed. All four occupants died.

A man identified as Jelsiney Fernandes, aged 33, died after being run over on Monday morning (13), on Rua Comandante Norberto Won Gal, Redenção neighborhood, central-west zone of Manaus.

According to witnesses, the victim was drunk when he tried to cross the road and was hit by the car. The driver of the vehicle stated that he was traveling at the permitted speed when Jelsiney tried to cross the street, and at the time, he was unable to avoid it.

With the force of the impact, the victim hit his head on the gutter. The forensic team and the Legal Medical Institute (IML) were called to respond to the incident. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the police station to provide clarification.

NANCHANG, April 19 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed and 12 others injured in a road accident Sunday morning in east China's Jiangxi Province, local authorities said.

A mini bus with 19 people on board rolled off a national road for about 30 meters into a ditch at 8:30 a.m. in the city of Leping, according to the publicity department of the city.

Six people were dead, and another 12 were sent to hospital for treatment. Their injury conditions remained unknown. The driver, unhurt in the accident, has been under police custody. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
