Sally Mann is a photo artist who likes to push boundaries. There is a lot of nudity in her works (but not breasts and asses, but e.g. the nudity of children - which brought her fame and harassment with allegations of child pornography), diseases (she photographed, among others, her husband suffering from muscle atrophy) and... death .

One day, I was sitting on the porch of my beautiful house and thinking "hey, what else can I do to shock the crowd?" she came up with the idea of going to a corpse farm and doing photo sessions with decomposing bodies.

In cooperation with the anthropological facility of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where one of the body farms intended for scientific research is located, she conducted a photo session of the deceased. Sally not only walked among the corpses, taking photos of them, but also provoked situations - she poked them, making swarms of flies fly, or pressed them, observing the changes taking place in the bloated bodies under the influence of accumulated gases. The series of resulting photographs is called "What Remains".

It is worth mentioning that all the deceased signed a "model release" before their death ;) or more precisely, a formula in which they agreed to various madnesses with their bodies for the good of science (and art).

At about 9:25 a.m. on August 3, at a construction site in Shenzhen, the crane operator Liu Moufan was using a crawler crane to hoist concrete pouring construction operations. The wire rope of the hopper suddenly broke, and the hopper hit the guard below the boom. Liu Mourui, the manager's brother, died on the spot.

Happened on November 9, 2023 near Ust-Labinsk, Krasnodar Krai, Russia

Two men were travelling in VAZ 2107 in heavy rain on route Krasnodar - Kropotkin.

Near Ust-Labinsk the car driver lost control, skid to the oncoming lane and crashed into Mercedes truck.

Either driver or passenger were ejected from the vehicle (it was not specified).

Car driver died on spot. His passenger was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Truck driver was not injured.

Two people were gunned down on Thursday inside a bread truck on the corners of Symphony Way and Temprol in Suburban, Delft.

The occupants in the white Isuzu bread truck branded with a Sasko logo were doing deliveries around 8 am when they were ambushed by unknown gunmen.

Videos of the active crime scene was shared on WhatsApp crime groups minutes after the shooting.

It is alleged that that the incident is related to extortion gangs.

It is also alleged that Sasko bread trucks operating in Delft do not have any escort when they do deliveries.

A truck driver uses sand and gravel to cover up blood traces at the site where he ran over a 16-month-old boy in Nghe An Province, Vietnam, April 22, 2020. Driver was eventually arrested.

The accident occurred in the coastal village of Quynh Phuong in Hoang Mai Town of Nghe An on Wednesday last week.

On the morning of that day, the victim's parents took their son to his grandparents' house so that someone would take care of the boy while they helped process seafood there.

Since the boy was later nowhere to be seen, his family members rushed to find him.

Upon inspecting footage from a neighbor's surveillance camera, the family found that the toddler, who was playing on a road less than three meters wide in front of their house at 9:15 am, was run over by a truck carrying construction materials.

The driver, later identified as 33-year-old local Nguyen Van V., was filmed carrying the boy's body to another site and used sand and gravel to cover up blood marks on the road.

It only took him one minute to finish hushing up what had happened and drive away.

V., who was recognized by the boy's family, was questioned about the boy's whereabouts and he denied allegations against him. At the time, he even joined the family's search for the missing toddler.

However, the family was able to follow the traces of blood left at the scene and discovered the boy's body buried in a pit at a construction site adjacent to their house.

Local police officers were present at the time of the finding and arrested the truck driver on the spot.

“My grandkid was way too young and was just learning to walk. He was such an innocent child,” Th., the grandfather of the deceased, told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper.

Manslaughter resulting in one death is punishable by one to five years behind bars, according to the 2015 Penal Code of Vietnam.
